Road to $1M ARR day 48/60: build to sell
how to design a valuable healthy business
Day 48 of the $1M ARR sprint.
Two new proposals sent.
But while the frontend is skyrocketing i can feel i need to get back 50% of my attention to the backend delivery systems.
Eight months ago one of my good friends recommended me to read “Built to Sell” and it completely rewired my brain.
The premise is simple but brutal, build a business that has value beyond you.
Since i’ve been haunted by four criteria daily:
Business runs without founder dependency
Tech systems that qualify as actual assets
Predictable future cash flows (contracts, acquisition moats)
Training systems so thorough anyone competent delivers excellence
We’re 60% there. Maybe 70% on a good day.
So one more week at this acquisition intensity, then we pivot hard.
Slow the new client machine (we’ll keep having compounding for the next 60 days from this singular sprint).
Focus on flawless onboarding for everyone we’ve signed. Map which GTM playbook scales the most: highest ROI at highest volume.
Then cut everything else.

This US trip taught me something Europeans don’t get, nobody builds wealth from cashflow.
You build wealth selling cashflow at 15x EBITDA to someone who sees 20-25x strategic value. Americans understand this in their bones.
Europeans still chase monthly revenue like it’s the endgame.
Assets create wealth. Income maintains lifestyle. The difference changes everything about how you build.

Flying back to Europe Friday with a notebook full of infrastructure homework.
The post-challenge roadmap is already crystallizing: perfect backend systems (human + automation + AI agents working in harmony).

We’ve proven the model. We’ve validated demand. Now we need the machine that delivers at scale without breaking.
Heart is full. Mind is full of memories from these NYC streets. Mentally i am fucking hungry for what’s next.
Physically? Bit tired if i’m being honest.
