Road to $1M ARR day 22/60: got an airbnb and closed $84k in new arr on slack...

Day 22 of the $1M ARR sprint.

Closed an $84K deal on Slack while walking down the streets of New York City.

After yesterday’s and today’s morning chaos, 10 Uber rides, cancelled Airbnb, dozens of support calls, barely 5 hours of sleep the universe decided i got my lesson.

Found an apartment that’s actually better than my original booking.

Got my full month in NYC locked in ready now.

Then while handling check ins and running errands, closed my biggest deal yet.

The deal happened because i finally stopped selling vitamins and started selling painkillers.

For months, i was presenting the how. The methodology. The process. All the sophisticated frameworks we’ve built.

Wrong approach. Now i focus on the practical outcome. Let them ask about the how. Answer their questions, not the ones i think they have.

When you solve real pain the sale happens walking down the street. No pitch deck needed.

Paul Graham wrote about cities whispering different things to ambitious people. NYC whispers “you can be anything.”

That’s why i came here for the sprint. One full month in the city where everything is possible.

One day in and i already feel it. The energy. The pace.

The constant reminder that if you can envision it, build a plan for it, and have the stamina to execute you can get whatever you want.

The $84K deal validated something bigger. We’ve hit product market fit in a specific way. i can see 10-15 deals this size closing between now and December.

$1m arr will be the beginning of the new chapter.

Next week’s homework is mapping this out. Every process. Every resource. Every bottleneck.

Because closing deals you can’t deliver on perfectly is how agencies die. And we’re building something that lasts.
