Road to $1M ARR day 50/60: 40°fever and hallucinations

worst night in a while...

Day 50 of the $1M ARR sprint.

40° fever hallucinations hit different 2 days before heading back home.

Not the ideal way to finish this trip. Not the ideal way to approach the final 10 days of this challenge.

But this step back day got me thinking about something bigger than revenue targets.

(i already start to feel better and will be back at 100% by monday)

Tomorrow i have my flight back to Paris. A lot has happened in these 30 days here. A lot of deals, a lot of learnings, a lot of growth, a lot of encounters.

If i were to conclude 1 thing it would be this: Life can be utterly exhilarating when you romanticize everything and play main character.

Whatever your current stat, this applies to you.

I’ve been nurturing this idea for quite some time now. It helped me find joy even in the hardest moments, when life throws rocks your way (sometimes just to balance positive karma you might have had before).

This challenge was about romanticizing everything. Going to New York was about that as well.

Putting myself in a state of mind where the only missing thing to make this all a movie is a camera following me daily lmfao.

Romanticize everything.

The only thing we have control upon is how we apprehend our daily lives.

Romanticize your commute time to work. Romanticize your morning routine. Romanticize you reading a book. Romanticize cooking. Romanticize putting your clothes on.

You don’t have to be too serious. You don’t have to be too rigid.

Even in business. It’s just another game.

Play the game, but romanticize it.

I had a long ass to do list for today. Had to deprioritize everything.

Answered urgencies with my team on Slack. Had a check with a doctor. Napped 2 times. Went for a final walk in NYC.

Now i’m gonna eat a delicious burger, finish my luggage, and bye bye NYC.

(and yes, this is what happens when you hit 40° fever. i guess i start philosophizing about everything)

10 days left in this sprint.

Even with fever, even with exhaustion, even with a transatlantic flight tomorrow.

We’re gonna make it happen.

Because that’s what main characters do.

ARR: $892K → Target: $1M | Days remaining: 10

See you tomorroooww 👊
