Road to $1M ARR day 57/60: heart is full

Day 57 of the $1M ARR sprint.

Nearly there. And when I say nearly, I mean it’s a question of hours now.

No signature today. But the pipeline is so loaded it feels like something’s gotta break soon.

Had 3 calls today:

First one: a prospect ready to work with us, but budget came in lighter than our standard pricing for that offer. Could’ve forced the close today. $40-50K in ARR sitting right there.

But I’m taking 2 days to think through the right package. Rushing a bad structure just to hit numbers faster?

That’s how you create delivery nightmares and churn in Q1. I’d rather build something sustainable, even if it costs me 48 hours.

Second: locked in an affiliation deal with that big European startup investor I mentioned a few days ago. The VC referral engine is officially in motion.

Third: a near 6-figure ARR deal. They just need to chat with one of our current clients before signing. Reference call scheduled.

This is the unsexy part of bigger sales nobody talks about. You do the work, build the relationship, get to the finish line... and then you wait for someone else’s calendar to align.

Beyond these three, I have 4 proposals sent last week that should get answers tomorrow or Monday.

I am fucking all in. Can’t be more. I’ve pushed this at the maximum.

Every lever pulled. Every relationship activated. Every hour accounted for.

Small thought today.

That investor I had a call with is someone I looked up to 5 years ago at the beginning of my journey.

Getting his clear validation on the vision I’ve shared and the process in place to deliver it is a big win.

The kind that makes your heart full. The kind that gives you that extra push of motivation that makes discipline even easier.

(i won’t get cocky though... still gotta close these deals)

But sometimes you need to pause and acknowledge the path.

Five years ago I was studying this guy’s moves. Today he’s introducing me to his portfolio and co-signing our approach.

That’s not nothing.
