Road to $1M ARR day 36/60: too much...

great things happened today.


Day 36 of the $1M ARR sprint.

Sometimes the best days are when you barely have time to think about them.

Today was pure execution mode. No time for philosophy. Just shipping, connecting, and building momentum.

The CEO i’ve been chasing for weeks finally said yes to coffee next week. Took a warm intro from a current client who basically said “you need to meet this guy.”

That’s the compounding effect of delivery. Happy clients become your sales team. They open doors cold outreach never could.

This particular CEO runs a company that fits our ICP perfectly. High growth SaaS, Series A, needs exactly what we built.

The kind of deal that could add serious MRR in one signature.

But i won’t get ahead of myself. Coffee first. Value conversation second. Deal maybe third.

A VC reached out this morning. Call happened this afternoon. Wants to become a partner and send portfolio companies our way.

This validates what i shared few weeks ago about the VC channel. One happy founder tells their investor. That investor wants the same results for their entire portfolio.

We’re becoming the default GTM partner for smart money. That’s a position worth building toward.

Two more calls got scheduled today.

And because all work and no play makes for burned out teams, i just booked something special.

Taking the entire team for a 4-day retreat in Taghazout, in Morocco (my home country for those who don’t know). One of the best surf spots in the world if you’re into that.

We’ve been pushing hard. The team deserves this. Plus, the best strategic thinking happens when you step away from the daily grind.

Ocean, sun, and space to think about what we’re really building here.

Today reminded me why i love this game. The chaos. The velocity. The constant motion forward.

No time to overthink. Just execute, adjust, execute again.

That CEO coffee could change our trajectory. That VC partnership could unlock a portfolio. That proposal could add another chunk of MRR.

Or none of it could work out. That’s the game.

But the activity is there.

The conversations are happening. The momentum is building.
